The England international has been linked with a switch to the Premier League with both Manchester United and Liverpool said to be monitoring his future after Dortmund Jude Bellingham has addressed transfer speculation linking him with a switch to Manchester United or Liverpool from Borussia Dortmund.
After Dortmund, the England international has been linked with a move to the Premier League, with Manchester United and Liverpool both thought to be keeping an eye on his situation.
Jude Bellingham has responded to reports connecting him with a move from Borussia Dortmund to Manchester United or Liverpool.
Bellingham moved to the Bundesliga in July 2020 for £25 million from Birmingham City, his local club. Since then, the 18-year-old has established himself as one of Europe's most promising young players and has become a regular for England at the international level.
This has rekindled interest from Manchester United, Liverpool, and other elite teams, but Bellingham has confirmed that he will continue to play for Dortmund next season.
"The only future I think about is the next game for Dortmund," Bellingham told Ruhr Nachrichten BVB when questioned about his future and summer transfer speculation. I'm excited for next season. I'm looking forward to it starting. But, certainly, I'll be back next season and prepared."
Bellingham was courted by United two years ago, with Sir Alex Ferguson helping to persuade him to join and giving him a tour of the club's training facilities. Bellingham was apparently impressed by United's efforts, but he declined to join them at Old Trafford.
United's football director John Murtough was said to have led the club's pursuit of Bellingham in February, but a presentation he gave the young midfielder failed to impress. Bellingham chose to follow Jadon Sancho to Dortmund since Murtough failed to present him a clear career path.
Sancho has since returned to English football to join Manchester United, and there has been conjecture that Bellingham could follow in his footsteps. Jurgen Klopp, the former Dortmund manager, is said to be a great fan of the teenager and has been linked with a move to Anfield.

Bellingham continued: “I have my destiny in my hands and I know that if I try hard and trust the people around me, I can move forward. I came from England as a young talent. There was not much pressure. The first season went well. There were also matches where I sat on the bench and sometimes I did not play at all.
"I think my development this year has meant that I have played a bigger role in every game except two. I am very grateful to Dortmund for the way they have nurtured my talent.
"I think a lot of the credit goes to the coaching staff and the staff who keep the noise around me. In this way I can only focus on winning matches, because that’s what I’m here for.”
Bellingham became Birmingham’s youngest ever first-team player when he made his senior debut in August 2019, at the age of 16 years, 38 days and made 44 first-team appearances before moving to Germany. He has netted 10 goals in 89 appearances for Dortmund.

After the season's final game this weekend, the former Arsenal, Barcelona, and Chelsea player will depart the Ligue 1 club.
Because relegation was a possibility, I took a tremendous risk "Fabregas spoke to RMC Sport before reflecting on the young players he has coached.
"When I arrived, Thierry and Vadim (the club's former vice president) asked me to assist in the development of the young people.
He is a man, not a boy.
