Deshaun Watson suspended?

Deshaun Watson will he get suspended? The decision might be made shortly, and the suspension could be lengthy.

The NFL will make a judgement on whether or not to suspend Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson soon. According to Albert Breer of the MMQB, a decision will be made before the start of the season.

What remains to be seen is how many games he will be punished for.

The NFL has met with at least half of the women who filed claims against Watson, according to Breer.

Watson is currently facing 22 civil claims alleging sexual harassment and abuse during massage treatment sessions.

In anticipation of Tuesday night's airing of HBO's Real Sport with Bryant Gumbel, Tony Buzbee's law company issued the following statement.

The statement states, "HBO reached us and asked whether our clients would be willing to speak on the record for the Real Sports programme." "As with meeting with law enforcement and the NFL, we left it up to the clients to decide whether or not to speak publicly. Two people made the decision. These are the bravest and most fearless women I've ever met. This firm is pleased to be their representative. HBO's diligence and dedication on fairness impressed me throughout the filming process. HBO refused to give us the questions they planned to ask ahead of time, despite our demands. And, believe me, tough questions were asked — not only of our clients, but also of me. This firm has been trying and winning civil cases for twenty-five years; we are extremely confident in these cases. The evidence against Deshaun Watson continues to accumulate as each witness testifies throughout the pre-trial discovery phase. As they say, the walls are closing in. We hope to get these cases heard in court as soon as possible. We are convinced that justice will be served in the end."

If people believe the stories in the video are true, I believe it will affect Watson even more.

Several Vegas betting shops are currently offering a 6 game over/under on suspended games.

Deshaun Watson was forced to sit out the whole 2021 NFL season due to a pending legal matter. In the 2022 offseason, though, the Cleveland Browns traded three first-round picks (2022, 2023, 2024), a third-round pick (2023), and two fourth-round picks (2022, 2024) for Watson and a 2024 sixth-round pick.

What are your thoughts?

How many games is he going to be suspended for?

San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan says he expects Jimmy Garoppolo to be traded "at some point."

Jimmy Garoppolo is still a member of the San Francisco 49ers, despite free agency and the NFL Draft having passed on the NFL calendar.
Niners head coach Kyle Shanahan was asked about Garoppolo's status during a press conference on Tuesday. Garoppolo is currently rehabbing from right shoulder surgery he had earlier this offseason.
"I believe he will be traded at some point, but who knows?"
Since the team drafted Lance last summer, the writing has been on the wall for Garoppolo's exit.
Garoppolo also has a $26.95 million cap cost this season, so keeping him on the roster at that number isn't a good financial decision.

Los Angeles, Indianapolis, and "Dallas" - though the Cowboys are technically based in Frisco and Arlington - were among the teams that submitted proposals for the 2023 combine.

The Combine has a strong possibility of becoming a touring road show that will visit North Texas in the future.
After decades of the NFL Draft being held in New York, the league made that cash-cow discovery in the draught.
North Texas, of course, has the same benefit... plus a large airport hub.

A former NFL draught pick was apparently seen on film striking a United Airlines employee, sending him to the ground and bloodying his face.
Brendan Langley, a third-round choice in the 2017 NFL draught, is the football player, according to TMZ.
Despite Langley's assertion that he didn't throw the first punch, the airline employee was not detained, according to the publication.
However, the employee advances, raises his fists, and slaps the passenger in the face:

"You saw that s**t?" the passenger yells after being slapped.
As another person — apparently a UA employee — enters the camera and raises her hand as if to stop the argument, nothing else happens.

A member of Wabash Station inquired on the May 17, 2022, episode of the Powercat Podcast if Deuce Vaughn, who is entering his junior season, will declare for the NFL Draft following this season.
One is the potential that no matter what he does, he will not be drafted because his measurables will deter teams from choosing him.
"One way to look at it is this: Why go out early if you're not going to be drafted, especially not high?"
He's not going to be drafted as a running back.
He'll have to find a place for him.

The Las Vegas Raiders 2021 NFL Draft class got good reviews in a one-year regrading by Pro Football Focus

Pro Football Focus gave the Las Vegas Raiders' 2021 NFL Draft class high marks in a one-year regrading. The Las Vegas Raiders' previous NFL Draft classes have been chastised for making poor first-round selections.
That's probably a large reason why Pro Football Focus gave the Raiders' draught class a C last year.
Looking back on every team's 2021 draught class, however, it's clear that the Raiders' whole class made a significant effect in the team's playoff run.
The 2021 Raiders draught class, which has already been regraded as a B-, could end up being more fruitful for years to come.
