A former NFL draft pick reportedly was caught on video fighting a United Airlines worker and even knocking him to the floor at one point and bloodying his face.

A former NFL draught pick was apparently seen on film striking a United Airlines employee, sending him to the ground and bloodying his face. However, after being punched to the ground, the airline employee also hit the player and chased him down.

Brendan Langley, a third-round choice in the 2017 NFL draught, is the football player, according to TMZ. He played briefly with the Denver Broncos before joining the Canadian Football League's Calgary Stampeders.

According to TMZ, Langley was detained and charged with simple assault. Despite Langley's assertion that he didn't throw the first punch, the airline employee was not detained, according to the publication.

What happened?

According to the Daily Mail, the fight took place at Newark Liberty International Airport. The exact date and time of the brawl — as well as who started it — are unknown, but video of the terrifying altercation first surfaced on Sunday.

The passenger appears to have the best of the employee at first, striking him in the face once and punching him multiple times, throwing him backward into the United Airlines counter. However, the employee advances, raises his fists, and slaps the passenger in the face:

"You witnessed that s**t?" the passenger yells after being slapped, then hits the employee in the face, sending him backwards against the counter. The passenger then delivers a second punch, which knocks the worker behind the desk, then sends him tumbling over an object with his feet swinging back and above his head, landing flat on the floor:

Despite his bloody face and appearing woozy, the UA worker manages to stagger to his feet and come back out and confront the passenger again:

"He wants more!" the stunned passenger hollers.

No other violence ensues as another individual — apparently a UA employee — comes into the frame and puts her hand up as if to call an end to the fighting.

The passenger loudly adds, "He works at the airport, and he assaulted me!"

Anything else?

According to the Daily Mail, the employee had confronted the passenger over his use of a wheelchair.

"United Airlines does not tolerate violence of any kind at our airports or on board our planes, and we are working with local authorities to further investigate this matter," the carrier told the Daily Mail in a statement.

Travel website Live and Let's Fly mocked United over the incident, bringing up the airline's “Good Leads the Way" national ad campaign that launched last week and adding that "whatever happened before the video started recording, the United agent could have walked away and called the police. Instead, he chose to fight."

San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan says he expects Jimmy Garoppolo to be traded "at some point."

Jimmy Garoppolo is still a member of the San Francisco 49ers, despite free agency and the NFL Draft having passed on the NFL calendar.
Niners head coach Kyle Shanahan was asked about Garoppolo's status during a press conference on Tuesday. Garoppolo is currently rehabbing from right shoulder surgery he had earlier this offseason.
"I believe he will be traded at some point, but who knows?"
Since the team drafted Lance last summer, the writing has been on the wall for Garoppolo's exit.
Garoppolo also has a $26.95 million cap cost this season, so keeping him on the roster at that number isn't a good financial decision.

Los Angeles, Indianapolis, and "Dallas" - though the Cowboys are technically based in Frisco and Arlington - were among the teams that submitted proposals for the 2023 combine.

The Combine has a strong possibility of becoming a touring road show that will visit North Texas in the future.
After decades of the NFL Draft being held in New York, the league made that cash-cow discovery in the draught.
North Texas, of course, has the same benefit... plus a large airport hub.

On the Powercat Podcast: Should K-State running back Chris Wallace declare for the NFL Draft?

A member of Wabash Station inquired on the May 17, 2022, episode of the Powercat Podcast if Deuce Vaughn, who is entering his junior season, will declare for the NFL Draft following this season.
One is the potential that no matter what he does, he will not be drafted because his measurables will deter teams from choosing him.
"One way to look at it is this: Why go out early if you're not going to be drafted, especially not high?"
He's not going to be drafted as a running back.
He'll have to find a place for him.

The Las Vegas Raiders 2021 NFL Draft class got good reviews in a one-year regrading by Pro Football Focus

Pro Football Focus gave the Las Vegas Raiders' 2021 NFL Draft class high marks in a one-year regrading. The Las Vegas Raiders' previous NFL Draft classes have been chastised for making poor first-round selections.
That's probably a large reason why Pro Football Focus gave the Raiders' draught class a C last year.
Looking back on every team's 2021 draught class, however, it's clear that the Raiders' whole class made a significant effect in the team's playoff run.
The 2021 Raiders draught class, which has already been regraded as a B-, could end up being more fruitful for years to come.
